Mammoth Trucks BC Ltd. Takes great pride in announcing the beginning of production of its first Mammoth Euro-American Class 8 truck/tractor. This vehicle incorporates the best of both worlds – North American chassis power train and European cab design. In our efforts to secure an even greater part of the growing export market with this unique vehicle – we are breaking ground as the vehicle will be available in reconditioned and new form. This covers a much broader spectrum of the market and our export price range will start at U.S. $30,000 ex works for a ‘used’ unit. Our Euro-American has arrived right on time for our right hand drive export markets – which constitutes the bulk of our sales.
Recent developments in Southern Africa with transport legislations have literally eliminated conventional (bonneted) left hand drives from the roads. This has come about by stricter enforcement of overall length limits and operating L.H.D. vehicles in a R.H.D. country – in itself a major road safety hazard – In short “the right truck at the right time.”
Technically the trucks will be Cummins N14 powered with Eaton Fuller 9-18 speed transmissions with Rockwell-Meritor bogie systems, all proven components with first class back up in even the remotest export markets. We will be looking for franchisees in various countries.

Stricter laws do help get a better effective working environment for all truckers and is much needed. There are too many accidents on the roads which compel such acts.
